В Кыргызской Республике признается и поддерживается язык жестов в качестве средства межличностного общения, а также принимаются меры по его развитию и применению в различных сферах жизнедеятельности общества. Государство обязано обеспечить услуги по сурдопереводу в случаях, необходимых для защиты прав лиц с ограниченными возможностями здоровья.
