Граждане Кыргызской Республики избирают Президента Кыргызской
Республики.
Выборы являются свободными, проводятся общим, тайным, прямым,
равным голосованием.
Президентом Кыргызской Республики может быть избран гражданин
Кыргызской Республики не моложе 35 лет и не старше 65 лет, владеющий
государственным языком и проживающий в республике не менее 15 лет
перед выдвижением его кандидатуры в Президенты.
Президент Кыргызской Республики избирается на 5 лет.
Одно и то же лицо не может быть избрано Президентом Кыргызской
Республики более двух сроков подряд.
