Приграничная торговля осуществляется за счет местных ресурсов,
товаров, выделяемых союзным республикам по рыночному фонду, а
также сырья, материалов, сэкономленных на предприятиях, в объединениях
и организациях, непосредственно участвующих в этой торговле.
Вся выручка от экспорта направляется на закупку машин,
оборудования, материалов и товаров народного потребления для
удовлетворения потребностей населения пограничных районов.
