Подготовка офицеров для внутренних войск осуществляется в высших учебных заведениях, военных училищах, дислоцированных на территории республики, а также в военно-учебных заведениях других государств на договорных условиях. Подготовка прапорщиков, сержантов (старшин) и солдат-специалистов осуществляется в учебной части внутренних войск. Повышение профессионального уровня офицерского состава внутренних войск осуществляется на факультетах, кафедрах и курсах высших учебных заведений.
