Водозабор для противопожарных нужд допускается из любых водных объектов и водохозяйственных сооружений без получения лицензии в количестве, необходимом для ликвидации пожара. Запрещается использовать не по прямому назначению воду из водных объектов и водохозяйственных сооружений, специально предназначенных для противопожарных нужд.
