Областными, районными и городскими государственными администрациями и органами местного самоуправления разрабатываются и осуществляются целевые программы социальной защиты ветеранов, в которых особое внимание уделяется инвалидам войны, семьям погибших и пропавших без вести военнослужащих, одиноким нетрудоспособным ветеранам, а также реализуются все предоставленные ветеранам права, социальные гарантии и преимущества.
