Главе государства - Президенту Кыргызской Республики с момента вступления в должность предоставляется государственная охрана в местах его постоянного и временного пребывания. (Часть вторая утратила силу в соответствии с Законом КР от 26 сентября 2011 года № 154 )

Президент Кыргызской Республики в течение срока своих полномочий не вправе отказаться от государственной охраны. Обеспечение, обслуживание и охрана экс-Президента Кыргызской Республики осуществляется за счет государства в порядке, установленном законом. (В редакции Закона КР от 26 сентября 2011 года № 154)
