1. Орденом «Курманжан Датка» награждаются лица, указанные в абзаце первом части 3 статьи 1 настоящего Закона, за вклад в воспитание подрастающего поколения в духе любви и уважения к Родине, в защиту и укрепление государства и обеспечение единства народа.
2. Орден «Курманжан Датка» носится на левой стороне груди после ордена «Манас».
