Настоящий Закон вступает в силу со дня официального опубликования. Премьер-министру Кыргызской Республики и местным кенешам Джети-Огузского района Иссык-Кульской области со дня вступления в силу настоящего Закона провести новую процедуру по отбору и назначению акима Джети-Огузского района в соответствии с порядком и в сроки, установленные статьей 14 Закона Кыргызской Республики "О местной государственной администрации" с учетом изменений, предусмотренных настоящим Законом.
