Владелец свидетельства может проставлять рядом с наименованием места происхождения товара предупредительную маркировку в виде словесного обозначения "зарегистрированное наименование места происхождения товара" или "Рег. НМПТ", указывающую на то, что применяемое обозначение является наименованием места происхождения товара, зарегистрированным в Кыргызской Республике. (В редакции Закона КР от 27 февраля 2003 года № 46) Законом КР от 6 февраля 2014 года № 28 внесены изменения в статью 37, изложенную на государственном языке.
