Правовую основу обеспечения национальной безопасности составляют Конституция Кыргызской Республики, настоящий Закон, законы и принятые в соответствии с ними иные нормативные правовые акты Кыргызской Республики, регулирующие отношения в области безопасности, вступившие в установленном законом порядке в силу международные договоры, участницей которых является Кыргызская Республика.
