Настоящий Закон устанавливает сведения, составляющие банковскую тайну, регулирует отношения, возникающие в связи с отнесением сведений к банковской тайне, определяет порядок их хранения, защиты, опубликования и предоставления, а также ответственность за нарушение законодательства о банковской тайне.
